Misty Garden in Coorg is the worst hotel or homestay I have ever seen in my travel life. From outside, the hotel looks very good with home like architecture and lush green garden but the rooms are horrible. We booked one room in this hotel through OYO for 2 nights (24th to 26th Jun., 2017) and the experience we had was beyond horrible. The rooms were so bad that the hotel authority made us change rooms 4 times on the 1st day. One room had Indian toilet without flush, one had spiders in it and another had leakage on the roof due to which our bed and floor got wet. We had a 2 year old kid with us and it was really difficult to stay in such dirty rooms. The bedsheets and pillow covers were stained, the plates were not clean. Moreover, after reaching there, we were being told that their in-house restaurant is closed and we have to out in the evening to get our dinner from outside when it was raining heavily, we had a kid with us and the hotel was not very near to the main road. They didn't inform this before we checked-in and when we didn't agree, they agreed to get food for us from outside but the food they got was terribly bad. The rice had dead insects in it and my kid had to almost starve that night. One night, the power was even not there for hours even though they said they have power back-up. Horrible experience!
